THE GREENHOUSE is lauded as a luxurious destination for the rich and famous. The southern-style mansion is a totally self-contained environment. With accommodations for only 36, the ambiance is elegant and intimate.

Accommodations

The private guest rooms are sumptuous and open to the focal point of THEGREENHOUSE, the spectacular glass-enclosed pool area with its three-story atrium. Every bathroom contains full-sized packages of skin and hair products and fine linens and towels. THEGREENHOUSE also supplies guests with fitness apparel and a signature terry cloth robe.

Each of the spa’s 36 guest rooms and two suites is designed and furnished to provide a supremely relaxing atmosphere. After a full day of activities, European-quality linens provide soothing comfort. All rooms are equipped with a wide array of fabulous beauty products, and a spacious dressing area. Soft, cozy chairs and a writing table provide the perfect setting to relax. Each room is also equipped with a television, radio, VCR/DVD, and CD. THEGREENHOUSE’s extensive film collection and a reading library cover the classics to modern best-sellers.

In addition to the state-of-the-art exercise equipment, sauna and whirlpool, there is an outdoor pool, outdoor walking trail, tennis courts and a boutique.

Gracious living at THEGREENHOUSE is distinguished by numerous thoughtful touches, appropriately beginning with breakfast in bed. A personal maid brings breakfast to your room, along with a daily schedule and the morning newspaper. THEGREENHOUSE’s spa cuisine is very well regarded. Each day, the spa’s chef prepares gourmet food that is served on the finest Bernardaud and A. Raynaud china. Mid-week, there is a quiet evening in which dinner is served in room (after, guests gather in pajamas, to watch a movie, complete with THEGREENHOUSE popcorn). Other evenings, there are lectures by presenters prominent in medicine, literature, art and contemporary issues. As well as a cooking class led by the one and only, executive Chef Leopoldo Gonzalez.

The Spa

THEGREENHOUSE offers an array of pampering spa services, from extraordinary facials, massages, hair and nail treatments to softening body scrubs and detoxifying mineral wraps.

One of the most popular treatments is The Hinoki Experience, which employs a soaking tub made from the Japanese Hinoki cypress that produces its own form of natural aromatherapy. After a gentle body scrub, guests soak in the lemon-scented waters, whose heat causes the oils from the cypress to be released; these oils clear congestion and ease muscle and joint pain. The soothing soak is followed by a fabulous foot massage and full body cream application.

Weight Loss and Fitness Programs

The weight loss and fitness program at THEGREENHOUSE offers options for every level and every personal preference. The spa offers classes and personal training sessions including yoga, aquatic fitness, Pilates, tai chi, posture imbalance and body ballet.

Personal training is available, and each guest receives a personalized fitness plan and a specialized explanation of how her body works. On leaving THEGREENHOUSE, guests can measure the results in inches lost, in perception of beauty, in relaxation and in an inner-sense of well-being and long to return.
