June and August are usually the months when most weddings occur.  Of course there are always exceptions, and this year 2007 will be the exception.  Since at least as far back as December 2005, potential husbands and wives have been snapping up spots to be married on a popular special day.  This year there the date that tops all of them is July 7, 2007 or 777.  The triple seven date has been booked for months.

Why is this date so popular?  Some of the reasons given are:

The couples feel lucky to have found the loves of their life.  Adding 777 to the occasion is the ultimate jackpot.

The belief that marriage on this date will insure a lifelong commitment blessed with luck.

The number 7 is their favorite number.

The Biblical reference concerning the number 7 including: the 7 days of creation and that God blessed and rested on the 7th day, our week contains 7 days. The other popular reference was to the prayer of the Lord having 7 petitions.

Of great importance was also the fact that the 7th of July falls on a Saturday (what are the chances).
