Deb herself won the Noble House Hotels & Resorts “Spa Director Award”for First Quarter 2007. In 2005, she was designated Noble House “Spa Director of the Year”, and “Hotel Manager of the Year” in 2004.

Deb Garman's performance during 2007 as Spa Director for Spa Terre at The Hotel Viking was nothing short of spectacular. Her consistent level of high quality work, combined with an unmatched work ethic, has propelled Deb to the elite level of managers in her position. Through Deb's direction, Spa Terre set records in revenue, number of treatments and profit margin. She ended the year near the top of the list for guest satisfaction.

Deb is well-read in all things spa-related and is very quick to communicate the latest trends to her staff. More importantly, Deb provides the needed training for all techniques to ensure all processes are followed exactly. Deb's keen employee management skills have lead to very low turnover at Spa Terre and her department ranks near the top in employee satisfaction scores company-wide.

Thanks to Deb’s innovative thinking and wonderful management approach, Spa Terre has been voted the top spa in Newport the last 2 years and won the "Most Relaxing Treatment Award" from Boston Magazine for 2007.
