This year more of our spa goers are asking where they may experience authentic wine spas complete with wine vineyards and wine tastings. Wine Country Spas have a natural edge on the treatments you can find elsewhere in the country. Since the opening of the world's first official wine spa in the Bordeaux region of France in 1999, luxury spas around the world have followed suit. While the true, trademarked Vinothérapie treatments are only available at Caudalie-affiliated spas like Les Sources de Caudalie in France (the original), The Kenwood Inn & Spa in California wine treatments, considered to firm the skin and slow down the aging process due to wine's high antioxidant content, are beginning to be incorporated into spa menus in wine regions throughout the United States.
