Temporarily Closed Due to Fire

Daireds Salon & Spa Pangea is temporarily closed due to a fire that occurred Sunday morning, Feb. 22. The three-alarm fire damaged a portion of the rear and interior of the building. There were no injuries.

“We hope to be open again as soon as possible and back to providing services for our guests,” said Ogle. “Additionally, we will be honoring all gift certificates and plan to extend the expiration dates to allow our guests time to plan and enjoy the experience. Our records are intact and were not damaged, so as soon as the facilities are restored we can return to business as usual.”

The cause of the fire was electrical and started between the ceiling and the floor of the two story building. Flames spread up some walls and into the roof itself, but the fire was completely contained by the Arlington Fire Department. The structural damage is significant, but limited to the rear of the building and a small collapse on the second floor. “The building was significantly damaged in the fire, but we are accessing the extent of the damage this week and will be determining needed repairs,” said Daired Ogle, owner.
