Moroccan Ritual
Enter the exclusive Hammam room to relax on the iridescent tiles. After enjoying a Hammam Black Soap Body Cleansing, continue the experience with an aromatic steam, refreshing cold deluge, whirlpool, and relaxing sauna. Complete the circuit with one last cold deluge. Conclude your ritual with the 90-minute Joya Signature Massage.

Symphony Ritual
Four hands sweep the body in synchronized movement as this special version of our Berber Cereal Body Peeling is provided by two precision therapists. A simultaneous Cool Stone Facial Massage and Therapeutic Foot Treatment are followed by a four-handed full body Hot and Cold Stone Massage.

Restorative Sleep Ritual
Full Body Reflexology, addressing pressure points in the feet, hands, and scalp combines with a Serenity Foot Wrap and an Aromatherapy Massage to promote restful, quality sleep.

Inner Peace Ritual
A full one-hour scalp, neck, and shoulder massage is performed with warm and nourishing oil, followed by a Table Thai Massage with herbal poultice to create a feeling of joy and tranquility.

Rose Festival – El Kelia des Mgouna 60 minutes
Farmers gather to celebrate the harvest of this fragrant flower each May in the Dades Valley, known as the Valley of Roses.
A sweet red rose body treatment with herb-infused mud is followed by an application of rose and plum body soufflé to provide an oxygenating, skin softening, and anti-aging experience.

Cherry Harvest Festival – Sefrou 60 minutes
Each spring, the ancient walled town of Sefrou has thousands of blossom-covered cherry trees. By mid-June, the fruit is ready for harvest, inspiring a joyous celebration of music and dance.
A sour cherry wrap with herbally infused mud is followed with moisturizing cherry plum body soufflé. High in vitamin C and anti-oxidants, this wrap is designed to tighten, lift, hydrate, and firm.

End of Winter Rains Festival – Tafraoute 60 minutes
Every February, the shoe-making town of Tafraoute celebrates the coming of spring as fresh white almond and citrus blossoms appear on the trees. A cucumber, mint, and mandarin body wrap is paired with an application of tangerine and grapefruit hydrating body butter. Refreshing and energizing, this cooling, detoxifying experience reduces puffiness and is an excellent anti-inflammatory treatment.

Harvest Festival – Erfoud 60 minutes
This oasis town nestled among nearly a million date-palm trees celebrates a bountiful harvest each October with music, dance and a camel race.
A pumpkin, orange and quince apple body masque is followed by a pear and apple hydrating body soufflé to provide a deeply hydrating and toning wrap especially effective for dry skin.

 Berber Treatments and Wraps

The Berber people have inhabited northern Africa since before recorded history. Early Berber cave paintings depict agricultural activity and feature strong reverence for the sun, moon and stars. Despite invaders over the centuries, Berbers have carried on many of their cultural traditions. Today, nearly half of Morocco’s population is of Berber descent.

Berber Cereal Body Peeling 90 minutes
Berber cereals, consisting of a mix of grains and honey, make this treatment appropriate even for sensitive skin. This soothing exfoliation revitalizes skin and stimulates circulation. Following the treatment, enjoy the Hammam experience.

Henna Tan 60 minutes
In Berber culture it is thought that a positive power called Baraka permeates all things to varying degrees. While this energy exists in jewelry and talismans, it is also thought to suffuse plants, most notably henna. This natural, organic tanning process of pure henna will leave you with an all over healthy, coppery glow.

Henna Tattooing Length of service varies based on the intricacy of the design.
The positive power of Baraka can also be transferred to artistic pieces through a vocabulary of symbols and designs believed to protect the body from negativity. The placement of the design is as important as the design itself. Berbers are often tattooed around areas of the body such as the feet where the negative energy could enter. Our professional henna artist will create a very special piece just for you.

Berbers are known for their skill with clay, using it to create pottery and build homes that provide protection from the extreme environment. Choose one of our exfoliating clay wraps designed to balance and protect you from conditions associated with modern desert living.

Far more than the vast Sahara Desert, Morocco is home to fertile meadows of mint, parsley and paprika with hidden valleys of lush vineyards in the Atlas Mountain Region.

Saharan Oasis Facial 60 minutes
A toning and hydrating facial utilizing lime tonic, pear and poppy seed facial polish, pink grapefruit or peach vitality masque, vitamin C serum, cucumber and wild plum eye treatment. This refreshing treatment is appropriate for all skin types.

Cooling Parsley Facial 60 minutes
This calming, cooling facial features a parsley and cucumber exfoliation followed by a seven herb facial masque with a cranberry and pomegranate face, neck and décolleté massage. This facial is excellent for sensitive skin.

Microdermabrasion 60-90 minutes
All Microdermabrasion services are performed by a certified technician and include a cleansing, toning, facial masque and moisturizing. Performed on the face only, or the face, neck and décolleté. Upgrade any facial by adding a paraffin treatment for hands and feet.
A lip, chin or brow wax can be added to any facial. No other waxing is performed at Joya Spa.

The Golden Escudo Body Treatment 90 minutes
Infused with genuine gold, this glamorous body treatment takes its name from the golden coin introduced in 1566, better known the Spanish Doubloon. Formulated with Artemisia and Passion Flower oil and rich in minerals, your skin will be satin-smooth with a golden iridescent veil. 

The Golden Escudo Manicure and Pedicure 55 minutes each
Relax as your hands and feet are exfoliated, enveloped and massaged in a delicate combination of pure gold and the moon goddess flower Artemisia. Massage with heated basalt stones is followed by moisturizing paraffin. This complete nail treatment includes soak, cuticle clean up, filing, buffing, callous removal and choice of polish.

The Grand Palace glass wall can be opened to the beautiful Joya terrace and its rooftop pool overlooking Camelback Mountain to become the ultimate open-air cabana.
