Pittsburgh's only Organic Day Spa to educate teachers about spa treatments for young students

(Pittsburgh, PA) - As part of her sponsorship of the 2007 Pittsburgh Area Independent Schools Teachers Association (PAISTA) Conference to be held at Shadyside Academy in Fox Chapel - Hungarian Skincare Expert and owner of ESSpa Kozmetika Organic Day Spa, Eva Sztupka-Kerschbaumer, offers a prescription for survival in today's ultra-competitive, ultra-fast, attention deficit society.
Eva's unique program examines how Massage Therapies can help alleviate many symptoms associated with ADD and ADHD by naturally reducing stress levels without medication. She will also discuss how certain facial and other skincare treatments can help raise students’ self-esteem and reduce depression, enhancing their ability to focus more on schoolwork. "Kids and young adults are constantly bombarded with images of how society thinks they should look, act and feel. Life is difficult enough for young people without having to worry about a beakout of acne, or dry skin or just feeling tired and stressed-out" says Eva, "growing up in Budapest, we never went to Dermatologists and didn't have the choice of Accutane or even Oxy10 (we were lucky if bananas were for sale). So the common way to care for our young faces and skin was to go to the local spa every week for a facial."
To help introduce the academic community to the benefits of proper skincare, Eva will donate $13,000 in ESSpa Gift Certificates to all conference attendees. She has also created several Student / Teacher Programs and Spa Treatments designed to help teachers, staff and students look & feel better with the end result being fewer sick days, lower absentee rates and an increase in attention and productivity.
