Southwest EduSpa Summit
The Southwest EduSpa Summit on June 1, 2009 from 8 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. will bring together some of the leading lights of the spa industry for a day-long workshop on the challenges and opportunities provided by the global economic downturn. The summit, titled “Meeting the Economic Challenge” will take place at the Conrad N. Hilton Hotel & Conference Center at the University of Houston, which shares its facilities with the Hilton College, one of the top-ranked hospitality programs in the world. NJ Spa Offers Free Massage Therapy
Aquamedica Salon and Spa in New Jersey is gearing up for another busy month. Apart from serving hundreds of spa fanatics on the Jersey shore, the premier day spa will be closing its doors Monday, October 27th, to offer free salon and spa services for cancer patients and survivors. The “Just for Her” event is an annual tradition hosted by Owner Valentina Chistova and supported by her children, Anatoliy, Sergey and Inna, and coincides with October’s Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Valentina Chistova, one of Monmouth County’s most benevolent entrepreneurs, and staff are opening their hearts and their doors to the recovering women once plagued with breast cancer. In the last two years, Valentina and Anatoliy have served more than 200 cancer patients and survivors with complimentary massages, facials, haircuts, manicures and pedicures. The event and cause is near and dear to Valentina and her family. Every generation of their family has had cancer, including Valentina’s mother. |
