We wanted Castleberry to teach us a new approach to eye makeup for winter, but he waved away our question with a flick of his shadow brush. “You get some good neutrals, and you’re set all year,” he told us. Instead, Castleberry pronounced our lip liner passé. “Break it in half,” he scolded. “There are better ways to make your lips look fuller.” He applied a pink lipstick and topped it with a lighter gloss, spreading it just beyond our lip line. Our mouth indeed looked plumper, and if we weren’t afraid of mussing it, we’d have kissed him on the way out.
