Spa in Laguna Hills Offers Stressless Spa Discount for Unemployed

February 11th, 2009

Spa in Laguna Hills offers half off to jobless - The special extends through February.

 Stressed about being unemployed?

Mikki Anderson, a licensed massage therapist, thinks a bargain massage can help.

For the month of February, StressBusters Lifestyle Day Spa in Laguna Hills is offering services for half price to people who are unemployed.

“Thinking about all the various stress that unemployment causes, as well as the additional stress that interviewing and job searching cause, we have decided to offer those who are unemployed an opportunity to relieve their stress and improve their skin,” said Anderson.

To get the bargain spa treatments, the spa asks for proof of unemployment, such as an unemployment check stub.

Prices vary. Massage services at regular prices can range from $80 to $120. There’s the standard massage, prenatal massage, sports massage and others. Facial and skincare prices range from $104 for an all organic facial to $115 for the upscale enzyme Epicuren facial. Spa treatments include body wraps, body scrubs, and waxing.

Anderson and her husband have operated StressBusters in Laguna Hills since 1991.

“We felt this was the greatest gift we could offer,” Anderson said, “doing what we do best at a price they can afford.”
