September 21st, 2008

Have you been to the spa lately?

Spavelous offers you an opportunity to provide others with feedback on your experience.

To leave feedback:

Locate Your Spa in the Spa Directory

Click to open the spa page.  Look for the tab that says +Add Review and click on it.

Leave your review and that is it!!

If you can’t locate the spa you want to review, then Go to the Main Spa Review Area

If you have never written a review before, remember that the positive ones are as important if not more important then the disappointing ones.

Here are a few questions that you may want to consider when leaving your review.

Review your spa experience
Answering these questions will help you evaluate and provide feedback on your spa experience:

1. Are you pampered from the moment you step in? Were you given a beverage, maybe ice water with lemon or mint, and a fresh robe and slippers?

2. Was the facility spotless, with attendants constantly picking up wet towels and cleaning the showers?

3. Was the space luxurious, inviting, calm, peaceful and quiet? Did you want to spend all day there?

4. How was the facility’s size? Was it claustrophobic or without privacy for you to get dressed?

5. What extra amenities were available: workout room, steam room, sauna, deli or juice bar? Many spas will let you order from a local restaurant and have it delivered.

6. Does the spa have a relaxation or quiet room for guests to sleep, read or meditate?

7. Are clean, fluffy towels in full supply throughout the spa?

8. Is the spa quiet and does it smell nice? Mildew or mold is bad — a spa should smell like candles (unleaded) and lotions.  Remember Clean smells clean it should not be disguised.

9. Are free razors (please do not use them before your services), shower caps, deodorant, lotions or other bath products available? What about hair dryers, cotton swabs or clean hairbrushes and combs?

10. Are lockers available and big enough to hold all your clothes? Are they secure?

11. Do the staff members seem happy? Are they friendly and mellow, even when you call for an appointment? Ask them how long they’ve been working there, whether they like their job and whether they would come there for the service.

12. Can you choose your service provider? Did they seem competent and professional?

13. Are the prices competitive? Are package deals available to try?

14. Did it feel like a mini-vacation? Was it worth the money? Would you recommend it to a friend or come back again?

15.  Did you enjoy your service, products, and was paying easy.
