Win a spa day – worth $380 – with funny mom story

Your funniest memory about your mom could win you a day of luxurious spa treatments.
It may be the story you tell on Mom at every family gathering, or the things she says that makes the whole room groan or howl with laughter.
For example, can you beat the story of the mom who dressed in a chicken suit to lure in customers to a fast-food joint?
Or the woman who’d reply to complaints about her cooking by saying, “I always told your father that the kitchen was my least favorite room in the house.”
Moms, generally revered for their compassion and composure, can be hilarious — whether they mean to be or not.
For our “Mom at her Funniest” contest, we’re looking for short stories along with a photo.
We’ll pick many of the moms to be featured in the ¡Vamos! section on Mother’s Day.
The reader with the top story will receive a day at Images Salon and Day Spa, 5523 E. Grant Road. The package, worth $380, includes hair color and cut, manicure, pedicure, facial, massage and lunch. Who uses it is up to the winner.
