Stanford University has started construction on a complex in Menlo Park, California, which will house a 120-room ultra-luxury hotel, a spa, and a restaurant. The hotel, scheduled to open in 2009, will be the city’s largest. The buildings will be constructed in a low-rise style that’s tiered on a hillside to capture mountain views.
Rosewood Hotels/spas & Resorts will manage the hotel restaurant, and spa. BAMO, Inc. of San Francisco is overseeing the interior design.
