For those who have decided that roses and chocolates just won’t do this year, Hard Rock Hotel San Diego is inviting guests to show their significant others who the true romance rock star is with an unforgettable Fantasy Dream Date package including suite accommodations, a six-hour couples treatment at the ultra-luxurious Rock Spa and romantic dinner at world-class Japanese restaurant, Nobu.

The Fantasy Dream Date begins immediately upon check-in when guests receive the key to their private suite complete with plush furnishings, lavish 300-thread-count cotton linens and sensually-styled bathrooms with ceiling-mounted rain showers. Next for the ultimate in intimacy, the couple will embark on a six-hour Love Potion No. 9 treatment at the hotel’s Rock Spa, named one of the best new spas of 2008 by Spa Magazine. The day-long escape begins with a romance welcome in Rock Spa’s couples’ treatment room which includes a dual shower and two treatment tables, followed by rejuvenating body exfoliations, soothing body wraps with reflexology and customized massages. Once fully relaxed, the couple will then enjoy a romantic lunch for two, followed by personalized facials, scalp massages and a seductive ninth treatment designed to promote interaction between the couple. Finally, the couple will enjoy a private champagne ceremony including seasonal berries and organic chocolates and a take-home gift sure to put anyone in the mood for love. The Love Potion No. 9 treatment is available á la carte and is priced at $799 per couple plus a 20 percent gratuity.

When night falls, the second phase of Hard Rock Hotel San Diego’s Fantasy Dream Date takes place with dinner at the world’s most celebrated Japanese restaurant, Nobu. Special for Valentine’s Day the chef has created two different multi-course tasting menus consisting of several of the restaurant’s signature dishes, as well as some seasonal and local selections and chocolate tasting desserts for two.

Fantasy Dream Date packages start at $1,500 per couple and include a one-night stay in a Rock Star Suite, Love Potion No. 9 treatment at Rock Spa and $300 dining credit at Nobu. The package is available for purchase from January 15 through March 15 and advance reservations are required. Package is subject to availability. Tax and gratuity are not included.
