Big Sur Resort Unveils ‘Kindred Spirit’ Romance Package

It’s fitting then that Big Sur’s iconic resort, Ventana Inn & Spa, is introducing a “Kindred Spirit” romance package that will lure couples who not only share a spiritual link with each other but quite likely with the small California Central Coast community and the rustic resort that is perched 1,200 feet above the Pacific Ocean.

Package rates, which vary by room type and arrival date, begin at $1,250 per night and do not include tax, gratuity or $25/night resort fee. The package must be booked at least two days prior to arrival, and blackout dates may apply. 

Lodging options feature 60 spacious rooms and suites in 12 separate one and two-story buildings, each with private balcony or patio and either ocean or valley and mountain views. Complete information on room categories and pricing is available by calling the resort’s reservations department.

Named a “Top 10 U.S. Luxury Spa”  Ventana’s Allegria Spa offers massage, facials, wraps, scrubs and wet treatments. The “Couples Experience” spa treatment begins with an aromatherapy bath and then a side-by-side signature massage of each person’s choice.

Additional amenities contributing to the resort’s romantic appeal include two swimming pools, one clothing-optional, and the Inn’s famous Japanese baths, which are open daily and nightly to moonlight and a spectacle of stars.
