Resort offering beat-the-stress weekend

Pamper yourself at the Pinehurst Resort’s spring renewal spa weekend March 13-15. The event starts at 4 p.m. March 13 with a beauty expo and ends at 12:30 p.m. March 15 with a farewell brunch.

In between, you’ll get a chance to workout, enjoy an afternoon tea, and learn about aromatherapy and nutrition while winding down at the resort’s four-star spa.

The all-inclusive weekend, which costs $499 per person, includes a two nights’ stay, daily continental breakfast, a $100 gift card for spa treatments and services, a spa gift bag, and all the renewal dining events and seminars.

On March 14, self-help guru Mimi Donaldson will appear at a luncheon as part of the weekend. Donaldson, a motivational speaker, is the author of “Bless Your Stress! It Means You’re Still Alive.”

Give Dad a ’suite’ golf trip for Father’s Day

Treat dear ol’ dad on Father’s Day (June 15) with a promise to take him on a golf getaway at the luxurious Saddlebrook Resort, located about a half-hour north of the Tampa airport.

Daily breakfast is also included along with 18-hole golf daily with cart ($25 fee applies on the second round), green fees, evening club cleaning and storage, use of the practice range with one bucket of balls each day and advance tee times.

The package price is $149 per person, per night, based on quad occupancy. If one of the foursome chooses not to golf, this package accommodates them with a $50 per night gift card.

The ‘Suite Deal‘ package is valid on stays from June 13-October 4.

The award-winning resort features a unique Walking Village layout, so that guests can stroll from accommodations to recreation, restaurants and shops in minutes.
