Boyne Mountain Resort Ladies Retreat
A new women’s ski and snowboard retreat is being held at Boyne Mountain Resort on Tuesday, February 3 through Thursday, February 5. The retreat offers women two days of fun and the chance to connect with others through skiing, snowboarding, cocktail parties, spa visits, fitness sessions, a fashion show and more.
“This women-only retreat offers a fun and relaxed environment for learning and to advance skiing and boarding abilities,” said Heidi Clark of Boyne Mountain SnowSports Academy. “The instructors leading this retreat are all ladies so they understand a women’s body and the physiology of how our bodies work and how that relates to skiing and snowboarding techniques.”
Instructors from Boyne Mountain SnowSports Academy serve as guides for the gathering, greeting participants at the Tuesday evening champagne and hors d’oeuvres welcome reception, leading equipment discussions and personalized evaluations, participating in morning stretches, leading up to four hours of daily on-snow workshops and video analysis, and bidding farewell during the Thursday afternoon reception. The retreat also includes meals, a fashion show, fitness classes and 50-minute spa treatment from the ski resort’s Solace Spa.
Catering to all levels and abilities, on-snow class sizes are limited to eight or less to ensure individualized attention. Among the Boyne Mountain SnowSports Academy teaching professionals is Morgan LaFonte, 1993 Women’s World Extreme Snowboarding Champion, feature snowboard film rider and Michigan native.
This new Ladies Ski and Snowboard Retreat at Boyne Mountain starts at $399 per person or $529 including two night’s lodging in the resort’s Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa.
