Book massages for regular intervals before the wedding, perhaps once a week or once every two weeks. You’ll need them, and even 10-minute sessions can help to unwind you.
Scent of a Woman
Decide on your wedding day fragrance. Certain scents can invoke powerful, nostalgic memories. Try out samples of light, romantic scents over a few days, assessing them every few hours to see how they wear. Then choose your favorite.
Apply fragrance before slipping into wedding gown. Never spray fragrance near clothing as it can stain the fabric.
Be Prepared
Organize your Bridal emergency repair kit. Suggestions include:
Tissues, a nail file, nail clippers, clear polish, colored polish, dental floss, breath mints, and bobby pins. Ask your makeup artist for pressed powder, lipstick, and concealer to put in a custom makeup palette. Throw-away garter, earring backs, small sewing kit, masking tape (for ripped hems), white and off-white chalk, Tums, Tylenol, small first aid kit, deodorant, hair spray, lint remover, toothpaste/brush, corsage pins, eyelash glue, crazy glue, tide to go for spot and stain removal and a straw so you don’t smudge your lipstick or stain your teeth.
Once your dress is on, put on your jewelry to avoid catching gems on lace.
Secure your headpiece just before the first pre-ceremony pictures are taken.
Just relax
The more at ease your mind and body are, the better you'll look. Stress can show up on your skin in the form of acne or eczema. To help stay calm, take slow, deep breaths, inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
Be sure to eat something. This is not a day to operate on an empty stomach. Have a few snacks packed that are easy to eat during the day. |
